    I’ve never travelled outside of Africa before, so getting this MUNCH TIME BOX was such a thrill for me! I couldn’t wait to try out special treats unique to a foreign country! What we got didn’t dissappoint! From chocolatey googey goodness to savory unique crisps, each item was packed full of flavor and I loved exploring these new tastes and treats. I love the added extra of receiving a little pamphlet with the history of each sweet brand.

    Aryan and I got to try the Turkish Munch Time Box this month and we had such a wonderful time exploring all the different tastes and textures of Turkey! I loved that the box had such a variety of sweet treats, which guaranteed that there was something that both Aryan and I could enjoy! I enjoyed the sweet treats, and the sour offcourse, and Aryan really enjoyed all of the different types of chocolates and cakes that we wont really find in South Africa. All-in-all we had tons of fun, giggles and laughter as our senses got to enjoy the culture and flavors of Turkey! Thank you Much Time Box for bringing the yumminess of the world to us.

    Always an interesting assortment of items from across the world. We loved that each month was from a different country, and that it was always a surprise what we would find inside.

    I will say that the boxes tended to focus on items not readily available as imports so you don’t just get a bunch of “usual” items that are not from here but still readily available.

    Not sure if it is worth doing it more than a few times to get an overview of what is out there.

    + PROS: You get to try items you may have never heard of, or have heard of but cannot get here in SA. You get a bunch of items from a different country that gives you some insight into the culture of the place that is different from what we know. It is interesting to see a snapshot of what sweets are like in a different country.
    - CONS: Some countries have really sucky sweets - they don't have the same types of flavours we are accustomed to. Some are even mostly only biscuits or are all the same flavour - for example, the sweet pack from India was all spices and plain biscuits. I don't know that i would have classed them as sweets, but it goes to show perhaps how things are different in other places.

    My favourite subscription box I’ve received. Opening the box has become an event for my family which we cannot wait for each month. The process in ordering is super easy and quick! When my package was shipped that same day they notified me of the tracking number for me to locate it. I would definitely recommended it 🙂

    Shipping Policy

    Your snack box will be delivered to you as quickly as possible normally within 7 days but could be longer depending on factors such as when you signed up and our next shipment date.  If you choose to continue with your subscription you will be billed for the full subscription box automatically after you receive the box.  If you choose the month to month subscription you are free to cancel at any point after receiving the treat box. If you pick a 6 or 12 month plan you must stay committed for the duration of the plan. If you request to cancel before the end of the initial commitment you no longer qualify for any discount on any boxes and must pay a cancellation fee equivalent to any discount received.  Should you have any questions please email info@subscriptionbay.co.za.

    Acceptance of Terms of Use

    By purchasing a Munch Time Store subscription box you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms of Use.

    Monthly Delivery

    As a subscribed Munch Time and Subscriptionbay member, each month we will ship you a package with a different selection of snacks from a specific country selected by Munch Time (“Products”). Each month of your subscription, the selection of Products from the country of the month may change. Accordingly, Munch Time cannot guarantee that a selection available in a particular timeframe will be available in any subsequent timeframe.

    BY SUBSCRIBING YOU AGREE TO PAY THE MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE FOR THE PRODUCTS THAT ARE SUPPLIED EACH MONTH.

    Online Purchases and Terms of Sale

    Subscribing: By subscribing you agree to pay your subscription fee for the goods that are delivered for the term agreed by both parties.

    Any introductory discount applied on the 6 or 12 month subscription means your first month is an introduction month. It also means you have a minimum of another 6 or 12 payments due on your commitment term before you can cancel.

    Subscription Renewal: By signing up to a Munch Time subscription box you understand and agree you will be charged at the standard rate and that any promotional codes used as a new customer at signup do not transfer or apply to your renewal fee. The Company do not accept any responsibility or offer refunds for ‘auto renewals’ proceeding if you have failed to cancel your subscription before your next renewal date. You understand and agree that you will be automatically billed after your current subscription of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months expires unless the subscription is 'set to cancel' before your final payment date in your initial commitment.

    YOUR SUBSCRIPTION IS CONTINUOUS UNTIL YOU CANCEL AND, IF YOU CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP BEFORE THE END OF AN EXISTING SUBSCRIPTION PERIOD, YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THAT SUBSCRIPTION PERIOD.

    IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP PRIOR TO YOUR SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL. YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW FOR A NEW SUBSCRIPTION PERIOD OF THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME.

    Refund Policy

    Shipping: Our listed prices include shipping fees and VAT unless otherwise stated. All orders placed on our website are subject to availability. Products will be shipped according to our Site shipping terms. 

    Loss of Goods: Our ‘Picking & Shipping’ delivery company is responsible for the delivery of all goods ordered. Please track your order online with the tracking number provided and follow up with them regarding delays or failure of delivery. All of this information will be sent to you by email once you have subscribed.

    • Dates for delivery are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
    • Delivery is also subject to any matter beyond our reasonable control.
    • If for any reason payment in full is not made, we may withhold or suspend delivery of the products.

    Remote Areas, Townships, Regions, Mines, Chain Stores, Farms, Power Stations, Plots, Embassy, Government building or long waiting periods for our couriers may attract additional surcharge fees. Clients will be notified before shipping and given the option to accept the additional surcharge or cancel their order.

    Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

    Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription by sending an email to the info@subscriptionbay.co.za website at any time. This does not initiate any kind of refund if you fail to cancel before the renewal date.

    Your subscription is continuous until you cancel and, if you cancel your membership before the end of an existing subscription commitment period, you will be charged for the remainder of that subscription period.

    By Munch Time stating you can cancel at anytime this directly refers to the renewal and not your commitment term.

    Any discounts or free trial boxes given on the first month of a new subscription are applied on the assumption you stay subscribed for the entire initial commitment period. If you request to cancel before the end of the initial commitment you no longer qualify for any discount or free trial on any boxes and must pay a cancellation fee of the one month rate for any box you received a discount or free trial.

    Munch Time store does not offer a free trial or discount unless stated. You can only cancel after the first box if you select a month to month subscription. A 6 Month or 12 month subscription is different and you have agreed to stay for the entire subscription period. This policy protects the company from abuse of our discount or free trial systems given to new members who want to join up on a new subscription. If you agree to a 6 month or 12 month subscription you need to stay for the full commitment period. Normal month to month subscriptions can be cancelled at any point.

    Munch Time store discounts or free trials are one per household.

    Munch Time store is a subscription service, by signing up you agree it is your responsibility to cancel your own subscription by emailing your request to info@subscriptionbay.co.za. The Company does not accept responsibility to cancel your account on your behalf without written consent.  It is up to the customer alone to request cancellation of the subscription. Cancellations must be completed before the next renewal date. Your subscription will renew on the same date of the month that you signed up after your commitment period ends. EG You sign up for 6 months on the 5th of February your membership will automatically renew on August 5th.

    You must cancel your subscription 24 hours before the renewal date. IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL PRIOR TO THE RENEWAL DATE OF A CALENDAR MONTH, YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THAT MONTH’S SERVICE AND YOU WILL RECEIVE A Munch Time Subscription.  All cancellation requests received after the renewal date of a calendar month will apply to the following calendar month.

    Billing & Payments : You will automatically be charged each month for your ongoing subscription. If you have committed to a subscription period lasting longer than one month (e.g., a six month plan, a twelve month plan), you will automatically be charged each month during that subscription period, even if you have set your subscription or membership to cancel prior to the end of that subscription period. Further, unless you cancel your subscription or membership prior to the end of your then-current subscription period, at the end of that period, your subscription will automatically be renewed for an additional subscription period of the same amount of time.

    Prepaid credit / debit cards are not accepted.

    For your convenience and continuous subscription benefits as a member, if your payment method reaches its expiration date, you do not edit your credit card information and you have an ongoing subscription, you authorize us to continue billing that credit card on file including extending the expiration date until we are notified by you or the credit card company that the account is no longer valid. We encourage you to constantly update your payment method information or cancel your membership should you wish to discontinue your monthly purchase of Products.

    Return / Refund Policy: All sales and subscriptions made on the Munch Time store via the Subscriptionbay site are considered final. The Company has a return policy in line with the consumer act, if there is a problem or defect with any product delivered by Munch Time we will do our utmost to rectify the problem. Products must be returned unopened, unused and intact. If the products have been opened/used we will not accept a return or offer any refund, by subscribing you agree to these terms. Please refer to our General Enquirues, or you can contact customer service using info@subscriptionbay.co.za. It would be the customers responsibility to cancel the subscription when they want.  

    Correspondence: We send e-mail correspondence and newsletters following orders and registration by members. You can opt out of these at anytime.

    Pricing/Errors: Product prices and product availability are subject to change without notice. We may cancel any offer and reserve the right to correct errors, including after an order has been submitted, whether or not your credit/debit card has been charged. If your credit/debit card has already been charged and your order is cancelled, the Company will issue a refund to your credit/debit card account in the amount of the charge. You accept that your subscription being ‘auto renewed’ on the date advised at sign up is not considered an error liable for refund.

    Order Acceptance/Confirmation: We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order. The Company reserves the right to decline sales to any party.

    Warranty: You are responsible for deciding if the products you receive are suitable for your consumption (including allergies, choking, and all other hazards). You agree that the sole solution for any damage arising from using our products will be credited towards your next subscription as decided by Munch Time. We will not offer any compensation under any circumstance.

      When do I get billed?

      Standard Billing

      You will get billed for your first month as soon as you sign up. You will then get billed on the same day of each month. For example, if you bought a subscription on June 15th your next billing date would be on the 15th of July.

      Promotional Billing (E.g. 30% off your first box)

      Should you sign up for a promotional offer for e.g. 30% off first your first box. Then the second billing date will be 14 days after you sign up. We do this as the first box is normally dispatched right away with a promotional offer. Your billing date will then be charged monthly moving forward. This will be made clear on checkout.

      How does it get delivered to SA

      It will be delivered via courier right to your door (Nationwide in South Africa). We will send you a tracking number the moment it is shipped out.

      Why Are The Subscriptions Different Prices If It's Still Paid Monthly?

      Good question! If you commit to a longer length subscription plan, you get the best deal! Preparing ahead of time allows us to make plans with high quality supply to put together future Munch Time boxes at a great price. 

      If a long term plan isn't your thing, no problem! We also offer a month to month subscription so feel free to sign up to whichever plan works best for you.

      What is your cancellation policy?

      We will be sad to see you go, but you can cancel your subscription at any time. Just send us an email at info@subscriptionbay.co.za. If you have committed for a longer subscription and have boxes left to receive you will be charged for, and will be shipped the remaining boxes. Then upon completion of your original commitment your subscription will automatically be cancelled.

      Please remember we have to process subscriptions. You need to cancel 24 hours before your renewal to ensure you don't get charged.
